Living Rooms And Large Windows

Choose Screen When The View Should Stay Open

Screen fabrics are often the best answer for sunny living rooms, kitchens and large glazed areas. They reduce glare and solar heat without making the space feel heavy or closed off. This is usually the right direction when the problem is too much sun, not a need for full privacy.

Bedrooms

Go Blackout When Sleep Is The Priority

If the room is mainly for rest, blackout fabric is usually the right starting point, often combined with a cassette or side-channel solution to reduce edge light. We also assess whether one blind is enough or whether the window should be layered with curtains for a softer finish and stronger darkening at the sides.

Privacy Day And Night

Choose Opaque Or Zebra For More Control

Opaque fabric works well when privacy matters in the evening too, but the room does not need to go fully dark. Zebra systems are useful when the customer wants one product that can shift between a more open and a more closed feel during the day. Both are often strong design choices for prominent windows.
